Side note: yesterday was Christmas, so no daily post!
With the introduction of the XP/level system into minecraft, a new breed of mob traps has emerged: the exp farm. The goal is to have mobs reduced to 1/2 heart of health, so that they may be killed with one hit by anything. Exp accumulates, and levels are gained. These are handy for enchantments.
Both Li and I have attempted the creation of EXP farms. I can't speak for Li, but mine is working quite well - at the least, it's way more efficient and safe than going out and hunting mobs at night.
